Helping a Local Fitness Studio Find New Audiences
Fuse Pilates wanted to leverage their existing fans as influencers, and recruit new talent to promote their classes
The Business Challenge
Local fitness studio Fuse Pilates is a much-loved DC institution with a vibrant social media presence, and has been offering specialized Pilates instruction for years. The leadership team approached Everpilot in the hopes we could help them reach new audiences for their Pilates mat classes.
The Strategy - Bringing in New Fans and Activing Existing Ones
Everpilot and the Fuse team chose a two-pronged strategy to help draw in more fans.
- Use Everpilot's "recruit your fans feature to advertise in the Fuse newsletter and on their social media. Invite long-time fans and community members to volunteer as ambassadors by submitting their information via an Everpilot form that plugs into our influencer-enrichment system.
- Recruit new DC-based fitness influencers using Everpilot's AI Search, a deep search that finds and ranks influencers based on geography, product niche, and more. These new influencers would hopefully help bring new audiences to Fuse classes.
The Everpilot would take the lead on finding, contacting and contracting with influencers, while the Fuse team would set up affiliate codes for each influencer and arrange for influencers to visit mat classes.
The Results
Over the next few weeks, the team worked together to identify and contract with existing fans and new influencers, bringing them into the studio for classes and setting them up with affiliate codes they could promote to their fans. The Everpilot team set a content goal for each influencer.
The client had five new pieces of content that the Fuse team could promote, as well as dozens of likes, comments and more that helped the Fuse name achieve wider recognition.
